Beheaded on camera: Police arrest Muslim terrorists over execution of 2 Scandinavian tourists in Morocco
Two Scandinavian backpackers, Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, 24, from Denmark, and Maren Ueland, 28, from Norway, were stabbed and beheaded by Muslim terrorists while camping in Morocco.
Maren Ueland and Louisa Vesterager Jespersen were found murdered near the village of Imlil in Morocco's High Atlas mountains on Monday.
They were spotted with three men in Marrakech before heading to the Atlas mountains to hike.
This morning, a police source said three fugitive terrorists had been arrested in Marrakesh after an intensive manhunt and after local media had released images of three terrorists. Another Muslim terrorist arrested on Monday hours after the women were found murdered.
All four terrorists have sworn allegiance to ISIS, according to a source quoted in a Norwegian newspaper.
Officials in Morocco, Denmark and Norway are analyzing a video circulating on social media that purportedly shows the murder of one of the women.
The chilling footage shows a woman screaming while a Muslim terrorist cuts her neck with what appears to be a kitchen knife.
In the video the terrorists are heard linking the brutality of the video's contents to Western bombings in Syria, saying: "This is for Syria, here are the heads of your Gods."
Authorities in Denmark and Norway are also investigating whether the video is genuine.
Locals said one of the victims was found murdered inside her tent while another was found outside. One had been decapitated and the other was found with a deadly throat wound.
