{UAH} Happy New Year, Folks

Folks;

As the hours fade out on 2018, I want to wish you all Happy New Year. 

For 2019, I wish you two things; clarity and health.

Clarity as in the ability to comprehend a message, consider and articulate a response to it without debasing one's values. We owe it to one another to stay true to this principle, especially when we engage in loud and bitter debates, sometimes over petty topics. 

With respect to health, while I wish you all continued, or even better bodily health, I'm even more intent on wishing you a robust mind and spirit to plow through daily hurdles and pitfalls of life. 

I wish for all of us to have the permission to fail, to acknowledge when we get it wrong, and to make the appropriate corrections, and continue with the journey. I believe that if we embrace these two wishes, 2019 will improve our individual outlook in life, and, maybe, raise our own expectations for the year.
