Are Betty Nambooze and Bob Wine gambling on elections in 2021 to kick out Kayibanda? If so, then they clearly have not learnt the lesson of Dr Besigye and the FDC. Each time they participated in elections whose outcomes they already knew, they just ended up legitimising  the outlaw regime. if Besigye and the FDC had not participated in the last two cycles of elections, Kayibanda would not be in power today, and he was, he would be ruling as a fascist military dictator akin to Mr idi Amion Dada.. kayibanda will never be removed by election, by court petitions or by boycotts. kayibanda can only be removed by armed force, through violent revolution.

Mukono municipality Member of Parliament Hon Betty Nambooze has said that the current opposition is destined to over throw president Museveni's leadership come 2021.

Speaking in a televised interview, Nambooze said that Uganda is at a level where we can do way with the ruling party citing that the party called National Resistance Movement (NRM) perished.

Nambooze added that there is no brawl between former presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye and Kyadondo East's Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu.

"Has Kizza Besigye ever been a competitor to Hon. Kyagulanyi? We have been set up as opposition. Have they ever competed in the same constituency? I feel energized by Hon. Kyagulanyi. I know Hon. Kyagulanyi and Kizza Besigye and I know they meet frequently. If we are looking at 2021, it is not a sure year. No one knows if we shall have elections, but if we do, victory will come our way," Nambooze said.

Nambooze added that there is nothing to worry out the rise of people power as the opposition since People power is a phrase that shows our commitment to respect article 1 of the constitution which shows that power belongs to the people. We rather get something that unites us as opposition even if that is people power.
