{UAH} Inside Lenin’s Mausoleum And The Best-Preserved Corpse On Earth
I visited Lenin's Masoleum in 1980 when i led a delegation of Ugandan students to the World Youth Congress held in Moscow that year. Later I was chosen to speak for all African students, and addressed probably the biggest gathering in my life, about 10,000 delegates altogether listened to me live, and the congress was also covered live on Soviet TV. My mother could not believe it when a clip of me was shown on Uganda TV- she didn't even know I was in Moscow. The Masoleum is one of the most imposing and moving sights on earth- and Lenin looks almost as if he is asleep and not dead for so many years now.
