Siaya Senator James Orengo on Saturday, December 1, claimed politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto are nothing but fools who are uncertain of their political destinies.

In his unusual character, the senator ripped Ruto apart with a scathing attack saying the DP just hangs around President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition chief Raila Odinga oblivious of what is happening within the Jubilee government.

Speaking in Kakamega county during a fundraiser, Orengo said Ruto's allies must now be politically worried since Uhuru and Raila are working together and should therefore stop following him(DP) blindly.
"When you see Uhuru call Raila his elder brother and Raila too calls him his younger brother. That is not something to joke around with. They even asked each other for forgiveness, when the other one (Ruto) was staring like a caricature. I don't know whose brother he is. If there is anyone heading to Sugoi (Ruto's home), then that person is a fool," he said.

The Senate Minority Leader also revisited the referendum debate arguing the clamour for Constitutional change is unstoppable agenda.

The seasoned politician was referring to the historic moment when Uhuru and Raila publicly apologised to each other for the nasty things they did to each other during the past elections.

To show the way, Uhuru first asked for forgiveness from Raila saying he had said pathetic things against the opposition chief and it was time to be at peace.

Raila reiterated the same by asking for forgiveness from the president over his bad words against him as he accepted Uhuru's plea for forgiveness.

The events preceded the historic handshake which brought the former the rivals together, ending months of protracted political bickering. Read more:
