If you have been following the Gatwick airport nonsense, we have been informed that it is going to remain closed to the seeable future. A very interesting term. We know that all flights that are coming into Toronto out of Gatwick, have managed to leave out of different airports. They all are however going to be very late, we are not expecting any flight out of Gatwick until sometime after 11 tonight. That goes for both West Jet and AC. They all except I think one  flights are confirmed to have left or will leave shortly. Those that left last night into Gatwick were all diverted to other airports. What is frustrating with this issue, for we use Gatwick for most of our movements, is that until this posting, they still have no firkin clue what they are dealing with. A team of the military was called in today and they also have failed to find a solution to the stupid nightmare.

 

Call your agent before you leave for the airport if you are flying into or expecting any one out of Gatwick.
