{UAH} Trump in Iraq; vows to keep troops there

Folks;

After much criticism for not visiting the troops in war zones, President Trump and First Lady are in Iraq, making the ususal surprise visit.

He told the troops that US would not pull out of Iraq for some time. 

Which begs the question: Why remain in Iraq, which is mostly peaceful, but pull out of Syria which is still beset by factional wars?
