The legal instrument that terminated those (1900) agreements was actually the final/assented to copy of the Buganda Agreement 1961, which had been agreed on 9 Oct 1961 in London, and specifically, Schedule one to that agreement (see below). In fact, a final copy of that agreement is what was handed over to Mutesa at Bulange and what was being communicated to him was that, Buganda remained a province of Uganda, because that is what the agreement was all about.
