{UAH} WISHING YOU ALL HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I wish you all a great festive season. As 2018 hovers away to the past, we could recall the many challenges that we have all endured. But every new year is an opportunity for moving forward revitalized, refocused, and ready to take on the future. Moving forward is not forgetting. It is taking another chance for renewed hope towards sometimes bigger goals, plus striving to achieve the silent aspirations kept deep down in each persons heart.
Life is about people. Some of whom we meet, some we watch from afar, while others we will never even know they existed. But all play a role and contribute in building society.
As for those we have lost this year, you have done your part and your memory continues. I pray that you are granted divine peace everlasting. And as the rest of us soldier on with the trials, tribulations and intricacies of 21st century life, the crossing into the new year is also a time to remember the gains, reflect on the lessons, and count every blessing.
Let 2019 be a better, memorable and defining year for everyone.
This day also happens to be my birthday. A time when I mostly remember my beloved late mother Former First Lady Kay Amin who always made it a special day for the family, and for countless Ugandan children. But today I would like to send best wishes and seasons greetings to all Ugandans and all fellow Africans wherever you may be. And a thought of prayer to the elderly, the sick and the poor.
