While appearing on Citizen TV on Wednesday, January 23, Sonko expanded his list of dark confessions by saying the unthinkable when Jeff Koinange asked about his opinion on Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu.
Sonko revealed that him and Waititu were chain smokers of the forbidden weed before they could marshal protests when they were MPs.

The Nairobi county chief used the same opportunity to respond to claims from his Kiambu counterpart that he was going insane by intending to flush matatu operators from the CBD.
"I think Waititu is another mad man. Sonko is not even mad. I want to tell my brother Waititu that we did a lot of drama when we were MPs. We threw stones. Waititu stole a lot of land in Embakasi. I punched walls, I slept on the roads...but it is time to portray quality leadership to the electorate,"
"He used to smoke a lot bhang when he was MP and I am a witness to this. We used to go to a certain toilet there...in fact, he was hiding it in his socks. I am a witness as I used to smoke with him. I stopped smoking but he is still smoking even as a governor," Sonko fired a salvo at Waitutu as Jeff unsuccessfully tried to hold him back from the sensitive topic.

This is not the first time Sonko is spilling the beans on the secret life of the Kiambu County chief.
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported a case where the Nairobi County boss leaked a phone call between him and Waititu.
The conversation surrounded a controversial building the Kiambu governor and his wife allegedly owned in the capital city.

This came to play when Sonko was on a demolition spree of buildings built on riparian land and the couple's building was among those earmarked for demolition.
The incident saw Waitutu's wife arrested and arraigned despite her husband pleading for leniency like a small boy from the Nairobi governor.
