Robert Mueller isn't ready to close up shop.
A federal judge in Washington has extended the grand jury used in the special counsel's Russia investigation for another six months, a court spokeswoman said Friday.

The grand jury, which has already delivered high-profile indictments against former Trump campaign officials Paul Manafort and Rick Gates as well as dozens of Russian operatives and companies, was set to pack up on Saturday, when its standard 18-month term expired.
But Mueller's team applied for a six-month extension and U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell approved it.
As with most matters relating to Mueller's inquiry, the exact reason for the extension request remains unknown. A spokesman for the special counsel's office declined to comment.
CNN first reported the grand jury extension.

The development signals Mueller hasn't yet filed his last charges in the investigation into whether President Trump's campaign colluded with the Russian government or participated in its interference in the 2016 election.
Roger Stone, a longtime Trump friend and adviser, has long been rumored to be next on Mueller's indictment list over his pre-election contacts with WikiLeaks, which released thousands of emails stolen from Hillary Clinton's campaign by Russian operatives.
Jerome Corsi, a Trump-linked Stone associate, has also come under scrutiny for his WikiLeaks connections and has himself speculated Mueller will charge him with perjury.
