{UAH} KENYANS UNITE IN ADVERSITY AND SAY NO TO ISLAMIC TERROR

After all has been said and done, we are all united by blood. This photo was taken at the peak of the #RiversideAttack. It has been published by all major dailies and blogs. The #DailyNation used it to headline today's (16th Jan 2019) paper and has been shared thousands of times across digital media. Indeed, it is an image that best describes who we are as a Kenyan people. Look at it carefully. At that very moment, two "strangers" held on to one another. It appears that perso...nal barriers were BROKEN, religious differences were SET ASIDE, racial backgrounds were INVALID, there was NO political class and age difference DIDN'T MATTER. Fate had brought these two protagonists at the center of the action. You can't tell who is on which side of the "handshake". If only we could hold on to one another like this at all times regardless of the underlying circumstances. The evildoers must be very upset looking into this image because they failed miserably. We won the battle because we are a blessed family. As far as you have the same red blood that runs in my veins, you are my brother and sister. Why then, should we allow politics, religion, social class, race and other things segregate us? It is a picture of a thousand words; one which should open our eyes so we can see beyond all these barriers. God bless this gentleman plus all the others for their selfless heroic deeds. And God bless Kenya.
