{UAH} Ocen, Edmund//Quest for State House has left Ruto isolated
Folks;
Kenyan Deputy President, William Ruto, is a troubled man.
For 5 years, he was seen as the next president, an eventuality that had been bolstered on a daily basis by his public "bromance" with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Then the "Handshake" happened about a year ago.
That simple gesture of reconciliation, between Uhuru and nemesis, Raila Odinga, caught Ruto unawares, and launched a cascading effect that has now torn apart Ruto's network of core support around the country that he had counted on to win the presidency.
He's now not only shun by President Uhuru, but Ruto also finds his support among governors, senators and MPs, draining out.
The DP will have to climb mountains in order to reach State House. If he does, he'll have earned his spot in history.
