{UAH} TO THOSE IN THE CITY

All school buses have been cancelled for the Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Schools are open.

In Peel, school buses have been cancelled, and schools and offices are closed for the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.

Schools and administrative centres are closed, and school buses are cancelled in the Halton District School Board and Halton Catholic District School Board.

The Durham District School Board and the Durham Catholic District School Board have cancelled school buses but schools remain open.

As you are waking up this morning, we were bombed with snow last night, it is not a good day and worse of all the temperatures are going to fall all day. Stay indoors if you can, and I am one of those that push the limits in these situations, I am staying home all day for this is simply not conducive to push the line. Having stated that, please note as well that there is no service on Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) between Woodbine and Kennedy stations due to weather-related rail issues. Shuttle buses are running between Woodbine and Warden. As well, there is no service on Line 3 (Scarborough RT) due to weather conditions. Shuttle buses are running. The Scarborough RT was shut down since yesterday afternoon. Many sectors of the Toronto Trans System especially those on the outside are giving up by the minute, yet the buses are un able to climb the hills. I had a problem coming down Bayview yesterday. Kindly stay home, let us give the city the time to clean up as well, I have just read a report that they are sending out about 11,000 equipment just to open up the roads.

 

Does anyone know why  we cannot get reports from Pearson International yet !!!!!
