{UAH} WOMEN AND ANTI-TERROR OPERATIONS
Edmund/ Ikanos/ Annet Koby,
I have been following the terrorist atrocity in Nairobi since yesterday and the one thing that was always at the back of my mind is that no woman featured in the action- except only as victims being rescued or humanitarians like the old grandma serving tea to the soldiers. May be there aren;t many women in the Special Forces of Kenya or in the armed forces generally. This is the complete opposite of the UK. You remember I posted the story of the terrorist beheading of British Soldier Lee Rigby in Woolwich in 2013 by Nigerian muslim converts Adebolayo and Adebowale- it was a police woman who tackled Adebolayo, who was armed with a pistol and was firing at her- but she brought him down in a rugby tackle so that he could be overpowered
