The managing director of struggling Independent Magazine, Andrew Mwenda has announced a new 'rebel group' –the Uganda National People's Democratic Revolutionary Front, to among others fight President Museveni's corrupt dictatorship
Mwenda says the new rebel group also seeks to fight D. Kizza Besigye's radical extremism and Bobi Wine's empty-headed demagoguery!
' 'Last weekend, I launched a rebel group in Kanyandahi village, Uganda National People's Democratic Revolutionary Front (with five sticks) to fight the three enemies of our country: Museveni's corrupt dictatorship, Besigye's radical extremism and Bobi Wine's empty-headed demagoguery! '' Mwenda tweeted on Monday morning.
Mwenda's declaration comes just days after Bobi Wine announced his plans of challenging president in the 2021 presidential elections. It also comes aAt a time when the wave of People Power has swept across the whole country.
December 2017, while appearing on KFM hot seat on Friday evening, Mwenda made it loud and clear that Besigye will never become president of Uganda, he said, Besigye should try out farming.
Last weekend, I launched a rebel group in Kanyandahi village, Uganda National People's Democratic Revolutionary Front (with 5 sticks) to fight the 3 enemies of our country: Museveni's corrupt dictatorship, Besigye's radical extremism and Bobi Wine's empty-headed demagoguery!
He said the real danger to Uganda today is not Museveni but an extremist and fanatical wing of the opposition led lately joined by Bobi Wine. Mwenda said Bobi Wine, Kizza Besigye and other opposition members are emotional desperadoes without any clue of where Uganda has come from, where it is and where it should go.
Mwenda claims that Bobi Wine's recent "letter to young Ugandans" shows that he lacks the basic competences to even manage a village.
In the past, Mwenda has suggested ' 'We should create a new wave of politicians that must take over from Museveni and Byesigye fracas and no doubt Gen. Mugisha Muntu must be part of that.''
