{UAH} Armed police in Lewisham over fears of man in 'possession of firearm'

I was in a public library here in Lewisham, south London this morning when we were all put on a high security alert because there was anti-terrorist police was allover the town and who had cordoned off the high street where the public library is located. It turned out it was a man carrying a "big stick". The UK is now a country on permanent alert because of the Islamic jihadist terrorist threat. It is so inconvenient when a town is shut down- but may be it is worth it. Better to respond to false alarms than end up with a terrorist murdering innocent people, as has happened so frequently. Armed UK anti-terror police are now programmed to respond to every incident involving firearms or potential terrorism at any location, anywhere within the UK , within a MAXIMUM 12 MINUTES.
