{UAH} 'IDI AMIN SCAMS' IN UGANDA

Must Watch (especially tourists heading to Uganda). There are many Idi Amin scams going around. Someone will come with some either scary, or outright foolish story and then try to take you to "Idi Amin's torture chamber", or "Amin's victim who was buried standing and his hair is sticking out of the ground" (actually just a wig on the ground), or like in this hilarious film "Idi Amin's boat that sunk with gold". Its just a 10 minute short film by Kampala Film School (In Luganda dialect with English subtitles) but really captures the hoax. The daily Monitor newspaper fell for this scam in 2017 and even ended up visiting. The conmen must have already fleeced the gullible journalist of his hard earned money by the time he wrote his stupid article with the same title. Enjoy!
