{UAH} REMEMBERING THE VICTIMS OF BLOOD-SOAKED FASCIST MONSTER, THE PSYCOPATH IDI AMIN DADA

Some information of the dark side of Idi Amin's legacy:

Idi Amin was trained and put in power by Israel. Even Milton Obote pointed out that "Israel wanted a client regime in Uganda which they could manipulate in order to prevent Sudan from sending troops to Egypt…The Israelis set up in Uganda a regime, which pivoted in every respect to Amin, who in turn was under the strictest control of the Israelis in Kampala…" Prime Minister Obote was a socialist and the West was looking for a leader in Uganda who was pro-West, so they overthrew Obote and put Amin in power. Amin had previously fought for the British against the Mau Mau.The West eventually came to realize that Amin couldn't be controlled, and he became a critic of Israel, Britain, and the United States.

As the president of Uganda, Amin was largely incompetent in many regards. A former secretary of Amin's named Henry Kyemba said that "Amin never knew anything about how a government is run… So it was very hard to work with him." Those who opposed or criticized Amin were executed, as public executions were quite common in Uganda-this picture depicts one such execution. Amin also plunged his country into a useless war with Tanzania, which is what ultimately led to him being overthrown. Not only did Amin fail to capture Tanzania, but the war was another blow to Tanzania's already weak economy.
