Besigye survives being beheaded by angry Bobi Wine supporters at CBS

Uganda's opposition leader and former FDC President Rt. Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye narrowly survived death as a mob claiming to be People power supporters entered Massengere building at Mengo which houses CBS radio looking for him.

The security guards in the Massengere building tried to block entry for these youth, but they were over powered and accessed Massengere building looking for Besigye.

They were shouting making offensive statements to Dr. Besigye and threw big stones towards former FDC president. Mwesigwa Ronald, one of the team that entered Massengere claimed to have supported Besigye in his life time but saying it is time for him to support Bobi Wine.

"Besigye we supported you, in 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, just leave our Ghetto boy Bobi Wine we have done everything for you." Mwesigwa said. Another youth identified him self as Mubiru James MP to be Lubaga South said that Besigye is a mole in opposition, and asked opposition leaders to distance them selves from Dr. Besigye as he can't lead the struggle to liberate Uganda.

"Besigye opposed the restoration of Kingdoms in Uganda when he was still in NRM. It is Museveni him self who took a decision after pressure amounting in Buganda region.

Besigye is a mole working for Museveni. We are tired let him come out and we show him what we are…….!" Mubiru James of Lubaga stated.

However another group of FDC defended Kizza Besigye until he was whisked away.

Uganda strongest opposition leader Besigye during the popular CBS talk show "Palamenti Yaffe' on Saturday called upon unity among opposition forces of change. And advised those fighting president Museveni that there is a need to have many fighters as possible. However Besigye criticized those calling for his exit from opposition politics arguing that he has never asked anyone to retire from fighting president Museveni. " I have never stopped anyone from fighting. I am ready to fight a alongside whoever comes to struggle and fight. What I don't want to hear is anyone who tells me to stop fighting. I can't abandon the struggle to liberate Uganda. "

Besigye bluntly said. Earlier in the morning Besigye's Peoples government information minister who doubles as Mukono municipality legislator Betty Nambooze Bakireke had warned his boss and had information that there is a group of people mobilised to kill Dr. Besigye as he leaves CBS radio after the program.

People Power supporters yell over Kizza Besigye

Besigye was whisked away from CBS parking yard amidst yellings from these angry groups presumed people power supporters.

The battle between Kyadondo MP Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine and Rt. Dr. Kiiza Besigye affects the opposition bid to defeat Mr. Museveni. If this fight continues as it seems to have reached its peak today, Mr.Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who has ruled Uganda for the last 33years, will take the advantage to add on another five-year term in 2021
