FDC FORCE TO HANDLE BOBI WINE EXPOSED

The attack on Dr. Besigye at Bulange based CBS radio by supporters of Bobi Wine's People Power Movement on Saturday seem to have provoked the biggest opposition party in the country to unleash a special force responsible for the retired colonel's security.

Shortly after the known cadres of People Power Movement proudly confirmed having attacked Besigye and reasons to why they did it, FDC party alerted its force to stay on combat standby. According to insiders, this force which has been identified as Ground to Ground Force (GGF) is more of an elite force than the 2016 power 10 (P10) whose responsibility was to counter police and guarding the party votes against rigging. 

This news website has learnt that GGF under the command of Med Musisi is what rescued Besigye from the rowdy People Power Movement supporters at Bulange. Musisi has since revealed that the GGF which has been silent is now on combat standby with their Phones available 24/7 hours and ready to respond in time whenever they are called on. 

Before unleashing this force Musisi said that the Opposition has always known NRM and Museveni as their only enemies but it has been put to limelight that People Power Movement is targeting to eliminate Besigye. He says GGF's duty is to ensure Besigye's safety at any cost and they are ready to face any situation. 

When people Power supporters sieged Besigye at Bulange and engaged his supporters at a washing bay in a fist fighting, a phone call was made to Ingrid Turinawe who is referred to as Commander Land Forces, and without wasting time she called on Musisi and Makolo Kavuma who mobilized GGF members and within a minute had reached the scene where they rationed People Power boys and neutralized the situation saving Besigye from attack. 

Musisi also revealed that FDC has many forces but the one that has been assigned to neutralize People Power is GGF. Musisi was quoted by the state owned and most read Bukedde newspaper saying that:  we have different forces but the one to handle People Power is called Ground to Ground Force." 

Whenever Uganda is about to into elections political parties in the create groups that handle chaotic situations. In 2016, the opposition had in place Power 10 (P10) to count security forces on intelligence and guarding polling stations. For comments, call or text us on 0752510225.
