{UAH} KIPENJI:ANNE MUGISHA'S VISIT TO US STATE DEPT
Dr. Kipenji,
I see you have switched this thread to you and me, which i find so diversionary. To make it clearer, I have no role in FDC, or Besigye's political campaigns, at all. My views on Besigye are just solely mine. It has got nothing to do with FDC, nor am i interested in knowing how long you have followed Uganda politics.
You wrote,''you are trying to make me reveal you the one who accompanied her to see the said State Department official?'
Ahh... yet another incorrect presumption which attempts to associate your views to Anne Mugisha's meeting with State Dept, in the effort to discredit Besigye.Like I said, Anne is an open book. When she had that meeting, she reported everything she found out to members of the hotmail group she had started, and I was part of it. In the end, she told members never to waste their time on signing petitions because the Americans know everything about Uganda than Ugandan themselves. Even if you could demonstrate that Anne Mugisha said something stingy against Besigye without mentioning what exactly she said, that statement alone does not substantiate your 'lies', but rather confirms your continued propaganda against Besigye.
If the point of your observation was to provide some form of "proof'' that donors have a deal with Besigye, the effort
was in vain since because almost everybody in FDC knows that Besigye hasnt been in good books with the donors for years. If he had accepted their demands, he would most probably be president of Uganda by now. Besigye's support among Ugandans only reasonably reflects the demands of the people -- regardless of whether that demand is based upon intellectual interest or merely a passing whim.
I have coped this message to Anne Mugisha. Hopefully, she will respond to us, if she wishes!
