RWANDA_UGANDA BORDER CLOSURE SHOWS MR MUSEVENI AND MR KAGAME WILL CONTINUE TO ENJOY POWER AS LONG AS THEY WANTS
................................................................................................

As I begin this short piece I beg that as you read it, you have an open mind. I am very neural, but a keen observer of trends and happenings. I have said more than once I am blessed with the ability not to predict but to relate actions and reactions.

For nearly two years I have been screaming "they are coming", "shake shake the mango tree" "look at the northern by-pass" I can go on and on and the posts are not removed, they are still there. Many abused, criticised, the works. A few asked I stop Shakespeare speech but each of those posts was accompanied by a picture. If you are switched on, those picture would tell you at least 50% of the message.

Mine is just a personal page, not a media entity. Additionally, if I am to write everything I have heard, been told or have found out, I would be dead. Today, we are dealing in very dangerous times where wealth to many is more important than human life.

So the Republic of Rwanda suddenly closes all its borders one day without warning. 8 days later traders have resigned to the huge losses they have incurred. They now want to turn back, they can't because the volume of vehicles is huge.

Every night Rwandan citizens cross into Uganda, via swamps to beg for food. They encounter Ugandan security who allow them to pass. According to sources in Kigali, apparently the closure was to prevent a given number of lorries from entering because they were carrying some funny things. A number of RPF have also cross into Uganda, they have not been stopped and they seem to know where they are going.

In Kampala, Uganda's capital and Kigali, Rwanda's capital, business is as usual. Night life continues uninterrupted, day hustles continue. The media in both countries report on this closure as if it is just a normal thing. Like when you have locked a door and the key is lost. You get a lock Smith. But what if you cannot find one? You kick the door, which is added cost.

In Europe for example by this time, the citizens of both countries would be up in arms because this matter has nothing to do with the citizens of Uganda and Rwanda but to do with the two leaders.

One started listening to the other secretly, then using his servants for his work because the other is not pay attention and paying well. Then the other discovered and arrests all those he has been told have been get extra, kicks out others and also starts listening secretly to the other.

The spark came after one discovered that the other knows something disastrous. All this has nothing to do with the citizens. These two should seat in a room and solve their issue minus ego. But now millions of dollars in goods and services have been lost for the last 8 days. Kampala men particularly are suffering. Ok, for another time this one!!

Why the choice of my heading? Citizens of both countries are tired and don't care as long as they can close their doors at night and sleep and see the sun the next day and the trend continues. It gives unlimited power to these leaders to make decisions for them, some of which they may not agree with.

Members of Parliament are playing to the galary, giving funny statements to the media just to be seen or heard and later they untie their belts and enjoy their soup and other things when the belt is fully off.

In the olden days, if one village had an issue with the next village, even digging would stop. Everything stops until issues are resolved. It would be either war or talks. Villager would make it their business to find out what, why, how! But you go to down town Kampala today, people eating Katogo like no tomorrow.

Upcountry towns, they are not even bothered. This matter is for bar talk nothing else. Everyone shows they have more information than the other, before struggling to pay their bar bills before heading home to their disgruntled or disrespectful partners.

And so it is this attitude that gives power to both presidents over not only citizens but also other inhabitants of both nations. Nobody wants war, but ego can case one, two slaps and the living room furniture gets destroyed in a senseless melee. Afterwards they continue to rule and we continue to eat, fuck and drink. The idealists continue to give theories in fancy pubs and hotels, workshops and air conditioned boardrooms with fat allowances.

It is a pity.

Museveni and Kagame need a locksmith to unlock their issues. Leave the citizens to continue in thier hustle.
