{UAH} STATEMENT ON INT'L WOMEN'S DAY!
Fellow citizens,
As the world celebrates International Women's Day under this years important theme 'Balance for Better', which Ugandans might rephrase as "balance the boat", but which means that it is better if together we ensured gender-balanced work places where there are as many qualified women as there are qualified men, a measure that has been shown to improve company productivity, but an affirmative action philosophy that also helps mother's, women and girls enjoy better socio-economic equality, their individual rights, meaningful freedom and decision-making power to improve their livelihoods, those of their families and therefore those of communities & society as a whole, it is however worth noticing the current disturbing drop in leadership which has directly resulted in a nationwide euphoria promoting sex tourism and therefore opening the flood gates to all the ills that are known to come with it (for example international human trafficking, disease and the soaring, dangerous international drug trade), all promoted by what is essentially now a pimp NRM government, euphoria from the president and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, to the speaker of Parliament, the purported elites and government ministers, right down to the ordinary citizen, the new People's Government and even the People Power poor youths all combined in ignoring the wise advice and concerns of legitimate professional women advocacy groups so as to satisfy their own lustful desires at the expense of the meaningful uplifting of women in Uganda, such that the country's 2019 Women's Day celebration might as well just be under the narrow-minded, ideologicaly bankrupt theme: "Matako" (women's bums).
