{UAH} ON THIS DAY 39 YEARS AGO, LT-COL DAVID OYITE OJOK ANNOUNCES THE TOTAL DEFEAT OF IDI AMIN DADA AND THE END OF FASCISM IN UGANDA

Exactly 39 years ago today(11th April 1979) the voice of the late Major General David Oyite-Ojok(rip) roared over Radio Uganda,Kampala,Uganda,announcing the fall and capture of Kampala City to the joined forces of Tanzania People's Defense Forces-TPDF and Kikosi Maluum-KM(Special Task Forces) ending the reign of President Idi Amin Dada(rip).Today I honor the most enduring precious memories of this most distinguished departed infantryman.David may your gentle departed soul find eternal rest up yonder.R.I.E.P
