*UGANDA BOSTON COMMUNITY*
On behalf of Ugandan Boston community association, we would like to extend our support to one of our own Mr.Daudah Mayanja who was apprehended on March 30, 2019 on accusations of sexual assault. What has been reported is very damaging and absurd. No one deserves to go through this.
We are unable to access Mr. Mayanja at this time to confirm specifics but he might be arraigned this morning in Boston Municipal Court .
We would also like to emphasize that our community does not condone any form of violence.
As the police force conduct their investigation, let us keep an open mind and be hopeful that despite daunting challenges, Mr. Mayanja will incontrovertibly prove his innocence and regain his freedom.
This should be a wake up call to all Ugandans working as Uber or Lift drivers. It's crucial that you put measures in place for your own protection from such unfortunate incidences. A camera or recorder should be a must have, it could be your only source of redemption in similar situations.
Let us keep praying for him and our community.
