#WhatResistance What some of you might call "resistance" or "revolution" is beginning to look like nothing more than sheep dogging millennials back into establishment politics, parroting thinly disguised establishment media talking points, and waving signs. It's toothless.

If we don't start demanding radical change in the streets all the energy we saw rise with Occupy, the Bernie campaign, and Standing Rock will be tidily swept back into the DNC.

This is not change. It's not resistance. And it's certainly not revolution.

The most profound quote of the last presidential election; "You cant have a revolution in a counter revolutionary party." Change the last word from "party" to "system" and you have truth.

We must organize the people outside the current two party system if we want real change.

This could mean organizing the independent voting block outside party lines, organizing a sustained general strike and reclaiming our governing process, refusing to pay taxes, creating self sustaining grassroots communities, boycotting unethical corporations, removing our money from banks, creating self supportive communal living situations, exiting the duopoly parties, boycotting elections altogether.

Change takes a willingness to sacrifice individual comforts and luxuries we've grown accustomed to, breaking free of socio-cultural programming, organizing with people in your community, working together, thinking for ourselves, devising new ways of thinking, mutual aid, resource sharing, and a willingness to sacrifice ones own well being for the betterment of future generations.

Going down the same old road in the same old wagon still brings you to the same old place. We need a new road, a new wagon, and a new destination!

Whatever you want to call the current efforts of "progressives" to change the paradigm is fine with me. But, don't call it revolution because it isn't. And if you think we still have time for "incremental change" take a realistic look at the environment.

Look your children's children in the eyes and tell them you did everything you could to make a better world for them while trying to keep a straight face.
