Gerald Matovu: Grindr fraudster 'drugged and murdered James Bond extra'
An extra from the James Bond film Skyfall was one of many men drugged and robbed by a couple who arranged hook-ups on gay dating apps, his murder trial was told.
Gerald Matovu, 25, is accused of killing Eric Michels, 54, an actor and former executive at the energy company SSE. Mr Michels's body was found by his teenage daughter at his home in Chessington, Surrey, last August after she received a text from his alleged killer impersonating her father, the Old Bailey was told.
Mr Michels, who had also appeared in a reconstruction on the BBC show Crimewatch, was allegedly killed by an overdose of the drug gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB).
