Royal baby news live: Meghan Markle in labour

One of the last appearances Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made together before Meghan went on maternity leave, at Canada House in London in March for a Commonwealth Day event [Photo: PA]The Duchess of Sussex has gone into labour with her first child.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed that the 37-year-old went into labour in the early hours of this morning, with Prince Harry by her side.
It's not yet known where Meghan is giving birth: rumours that she's having a home birth have been circulating for some time and NHS hospital Frimley Park is another possibility.
There will be no post-birth Lindo Wing photocall, but Buckingham Palace is expected to update press on the child's arrival.
A photocall in the grounds of Windsor Castle will take place a few days after the birth.
