{UAH} SHAMEFUL PARODY OF REVOLUTIONARY LEADERS- BOB WINE
Alan Barigye,
-- This is the last picture taken of Ernesto Che Guevara minutes before he was executed by a Bolivian agent of the American CIA. He was captured by the Bolivian army in the mountains of La Higuera on 9 October 1967.
Che lived and died as a soldier of the communist revolution. Although born to Argentinian parents, Che had no country and considered himself a citizen of the world. A hardline marxist from an early age, Che saw his mission in the world as that of establishing the dictatorship of the proletariat over the entire planet. Che saw Imperialsimas the worst expression of global greed and exploitation and as the cause of all the problems of the world and he dedicated his entire life to fighting American neo-colonial plunder and terrorism..
Che fought for revolution in Cuba, where he was the military commander of the Castro forces who invaded Cuba and overthrew the dictator Fugelmencio Batista in 1959, and he later on went to foment revolution in South America and in DR Congo in Africa . He was finally captured and murdered by the CIA in the mountains of Bolivia.
This is just a brief recollection of who Ernesto Che Guevarra was. So, what sense does it make for Bob Wine to compare or mould himself after such an iconic world figure? How completely different could the two be? Che was a hardline communist, which Bob Wine is not. Che was a soldier who believed in armed struggle as the only means of establishing the new world order, something Bob Wine says he does not believe in and has eschewed as he prefers elections as the only way to end the fascist tyranny of Kayibanda Museveni in Uganda. Lastly, Che Guevara was an internationalist with no country, no religion and no tribe, but Bob Wine is a Muganda nationalist. and DP Catholic.
