Sharia law is not just the  law of the jungle, it is in fact the longest criminal code ever written. Sharia law is the mother of all injustices and crimes known to mankind.

The latest row comes after Paris' mum, Laleh Shahravesh, was detained in Dubai for calling her ex-husband's new wife a 'horse' on Facebook

A bereaved British schoolgirl whose mum was embroiled in an online 'horse' insult jibe is to be stripped of her £500,000 inheritance after a Sharia court in Dubai was told she's a "Christian."

Paris Shahravesh, 14, was set to inherit money left by her father, Pedro Dos Santos, a banker who died of a heart attack in March.

It is the latest twist in a bitter drama that included her mother, Laleh Shahravesh, held in the Gulf state for branding her ex's new wife a "horse" on social media.

Now, Laleh's love rival and Mr Santos' second wife, Samah Al Hammadi, who told police about the horse insult, has reportedly filed papers laying out her claim to the inheritance.

The Mail Online reports that the Dubai court was told Paris is a Christian - though her mum denies it.

Laleh says she is Muslim and her daughter is a "British Muslim."

The Sharia laws in Dubai prohibit non-Muslims inheriting the estate of a Muslim.

Westerners have frequently fallen foul of the Arab Kingdom's strict interpretation of the Islamic laws.

Travellers to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are warned against public displays of affection or revealing same-sex partnerships illegal in the kingdom, and of the risk of jailtime for sex outside of marriage.

According to the Mail, a UAE court authorised Mr Santos' former employer, HSBC, to aware his £500,000 in funds, including pensions, benefits and bonuses, to his second wife instead of his daughter.

Paris' mum Laleh previously made headlines around the world after she was arrested and charged under Dubai's cyber crime rules over the horse comments on Facebook .

While she made the comments while posting online in the UK before her arrival in Dubai, the UAE's rules which penalise defamatory posts about its residents.

She faced up to six months in jail, in which she wrote: "'I hope you go under the ground you idiot. Damn you. You left me for this horse."

Paris was forced to return home to the UK after her mum's arrest.

Meanwhile her father's second wife refused to drop the charges, then filed a second complaint alleging online harassment, which prevented Laleh from returning home to her Richmond, Surrey, where she is a volunteer worker.

In her defence, Laleh claimed she made the online comments in the heat of the moment.

She then became the first British citizen to be convicted under the Gulf state's strict cyber crime laws.

Following an international outcry over her treatment, Laleh returned home and was reunited with her daughter in early May after being detained for more then a month,

The 55-year-old  previously told the Mirror she was "suicidal" and feared she would never see her daughter again while she was detained in Dubai.

But the family drama continues, as the Mail reports that Laleh's love rival distance herself from the latest court action over her late husband's estate.

She reportedly said: "I put all my documents and Pedro's documents to the court and I mentioned to them that he has a daughter and sisters.

"But the judge informed me that there is no heritage, only from Muslim to Muslim. I am Muslim, Pedro was a Muslim but Paris is Christian. This is not my decision. It's the court's decision, according to UAE law.'

Detained in Dubai chief executive Radha Sterling told the Mail she had been advising Laleh on her ex-husband's bequest since her release.

She said she had suspicion the family may face issues over inheritance, particularly as attempts to exclude Westerners from inheritances in Saudi Arabia and the UAE were "common" when there was a second marriage to a local.

"Given the adversarial relationship that existed between Ms Al Hammadi and Pedro's only daughter, and the frivolous criminal case she had filed against Laleh, there was every reason to suspect that she would attempt to expropriate Paris' legal right as Pedro's heir," she told the Mail.
