{UAH} CLUELESS BOB WINE APPEARS ON FRANCE 24 TV
The importance of Debate in Civilized Societies.
Honarable Kyagulanyi Robert aka Bobi Wine last night appeared on France 24, France's biggest news channel, in an interview which I quoted with a view of creating a meanful debate with my followers on whether the policies we have in Uganda are good or bad.
I honestly expected people to identify those good policies that they would see continue and the bad they would see out, I expected people to analyze the impact of that statement etc but never expected people to react like they are obsessed with sex demon 👹.
I made no interpretation of his words nor did I give my personal opinion of his statements or even policies but simply asked followers to share their opinions on what the political leader said on an international News TV.
World over when leaders give statements or comments the public debates the impact of these comments, the public interprets these comments differently and share their opinions, in Uganda supporters of those leaders simply follow and support blindly.
I find it fair for any right thinking person to share his opinion on comments of a leader provided they Don't insult a leader, for that matter I blocked everyone who insulted BOBI Wine and myself, those who insulted me where judged to be hooligans and sick for a lack of a better word, there are the kind that think Bobi Wine cannot be corrected, the kind that are creating a cult in this, the kind that will lead our nation to problems.
We cannot claim that President Museveni suppresses our freedom of expression yet we do exactly the same, people must have the right to share their opinions over comments made by a leader just like people shared their opinions when President Museveni reads out the state of the nation address, I didn't see anyone arrested for replying museveni's state of the nation address, I didn't see anyone insulted. Did you even know that to call yourself a president can be construed as Treason under law but in Uganda many leader have allowed to be called Presidents so let us be tolerant to each others opinions.
We are dictators in the making if we fight people for sharing their opinions that are not friendly to us? We may end up being worse than the power we condemn, this is reason why people keep quiet and surprise you on ballot day, do you even wonder why people never demonstrate long after elections are done?
We saw this before with the Dr. Kizza Besigye team at FDC, how did it go? Where did it end? You can't fight for freedom by taking away freedom of expression.
We must first listen to voices before we ask people to listen to us, don't be fooled Ugandans vote for some reasons until they are guaranteed that its not easy to change them.
I will rest my case and return with an intelligence report on Robberies and murders who is behind these and why?
