{UAH} Iranians boycott ride-hailing app after hijab controversy

Mayimuna/ Afuwa/ Edward Mo Irundrua,

Why can't the bearded mullahs of Iran allow the women freedom to dress as they want? It is has become clear  now that a majority of Iranian women don't want to wear hijab, so why force them? They have  become so militant they are  a real threat to the regime. Everyday Wednesday, women in all cities and towns of Iran demonstrate against the compulsory hijab. More and more women are throwing away the hijab in public, and then getting arrested and sent to jail. The mullah's should wake up and realise we are not living in the stone age. This is the 21st century and no woman wants to be told how to dress by a bearded mullah. No. They want to dress as they choose. Is that too much to ask?

Bobby

After a driver asked a passenger to put on her headscarf, some Iranians began boycotting popular ride-hailing app Snapp.
