{UAH} Israel Folau: Sacked Australian rugby star's new fundraiser earning $1,000 a minute

Why are Christians standing firmly  behind this Australian superstar Israel Folau who was sacked by Australian Rugby authorities for making anti-gay comments? He is now raising money to launch an appeal. The popular fundraisser for good causes Go-Fund-Me withdrew its platform after widespread protests. Undeterred, a Christian Charity stepped in and set up another fund-raising platform for Folau which is now recieving donations of  $1,000 per minute. Folau has almost raised the $10 million  he needs to fight his appeal. This is a record in fund-raising. The question I ask is this: Why Can't christians also stand firmly behind fellow christians of Nigeria who are facing genocide at the hands of muslim savages? Why have they rushed in such droves to support a person sacked for making anti-gay comments, and yet fail to hear the cries of fellow christians facing genocide? I just dont understand christianity anymore.
