Why did Kayibanda not send the young Monica Namatovu to South Africa, India, or to the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi? I thought it is standard practice for all the children of the NRA top brass, the  upper class and the nouveau riche like Tamale Miringi  to be sent abroad for medical medical treatment. Kayibanda for instance sent his own daughter Natasha to a Dutch Hospital to puke a baby even though she had no medical condition that required specialist attention, unlike Monica Namatoivu. Kayibanda also sent Rebecca Kadaga, Norbert Mao, Kale Kaligula and many other Ugandans and Rwandans who are his subalterns abroad for medical treatment. His daughter. Natasha and all the subalterns I have mentioned above did not die, but Monica died despite her father being a long term mouthpiece and arse licker of the Rwandan potbelly. Does Kayibanda hold the power of life and death over Ugandans? Or is the simple explanation the obvious fact that Monica Namatovu was a muganda so it is was okay to allow her to bleed to death?
