-- Here are your Kenyan chuckle brothers doing a sight-seeing tour of Kisumu without any security details. Fat chance you will ever see that in Uganda. The potbellied outlaw Kayibanda travels around in a bullet proof motorised vehicle, complete with mobile toilet, accompanied by a full battalion of jack-booted thugs armed to the teeth. It show how much more peaceful and at ease Kenya is, compared to its violent and blood-soaked neighbour.
Earlier this year on January 19th, President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM Leader Raila Odinga stunned Kenyans when the two leaders went on a private tour of Kisumu CBD leaving behind their security details and motorcades.It was a shocker and something that caught the presidential guards flat footed,not knowing what to do.For the second time after the January 19th occurance, the two leaders again sneaked to Kisumu's CBD unnoticed, without the presidential motorcade or security details with blazing sirens.
