Does Uhuru Jomo Kenyatta want to do a Putin so that he becomes Prime Minister with his chuckle brother Raila Odinga as ceremonial president after this term ends? Given the hostile and acerbic reaction by his former dance partner William Ruto, that's what it is beginning to read like. Ruto thinks he has been pushed off the chamber room and sent to the boys quarters to eat with the cooks and houseboys, and he is not happy about it. I had underestimated the Kalenjin bruiser, but he has turned out to be a formidable opponent. He has made Kenyan politics very interesting- it used to be so boring.. He made me laugh three weeks ago when he said Kenya will donate Raila Odinga to UK to become its Prime Minister.
