{UAH} HEALTH CHECK

Gwokto,

I do monthly health checks by the orders of my doctors- this involves scans and xrays of all my body organs. They also weigh me, and today I was a bit shocked by weight which has ballooned to 94 kgms. Last month, I was 89, so I have gained 6 kilos. The doctor says not to worry because my BMI ( ie height and weight balance)  is spot on. All he advises is more exercise and also check my diet.

I changed my diet a little bit as I now eat more fruits than I used to. I have discovered my own breakfast recipe, which is a cocktail bowl of hot porridge with milk, in which I mix two chopped bananas, one avocado, one pear,, peeled pieces of an orange or lemon,  a handful of grapes and , strawberries. It is my unique recipe, and my children laugh at it, but I find it very enjoyable.
I am suspecting I may need to tweak  my daily intake a bit- because along with my porridge recipe, I then eat two slices of bacon or pork sandwiches, and  drink plenty of coffee. I dont eat lunch- except perhaps two bananas which I carry in my bag, but survive on coffee throughout the day.

For dinner, I eat either English fish and chips, or pizza, which i buy from the  from the shops, or I cook pork barbecue or chicken stew, which I eat with potatoes, rice,r sphaghteti.or pasta.

I think I have a very healthy eating habit- apart from the coffee and coke- to  which I am addicted- I took the two up as a replacement for alcohol, but have never been able to shake them off.

May be it is exercise that I need.

Otherwise, the doctor is very happy happy with health.. From a time I was only weighing 65 Kgs  when I stopped drinking alcohol 10 years ago, now to 94 kgs is remarkable.. I think I have added another 10 years to my life by quitting alcohol.
