The world's most admired people are Michelle Obama and Bill Gates - and Donald Trump doesn't make top 10
Most admired on the planet: Bill Gates and Michelle Obama (AP)Michelle Obama and Bill Gates are the most admired people in the world, according to a new poll.
The former US First Lady and Microsoft founder topped a YouGov survey of the most admired women and men on the planet.
The top 10 women also featured Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie in second and third places respectively.
Last year, Jolie topped the poll with Michele Obama in second place.

`Also included in the top 10 are Hillary Clinton and Taylor Swift.
Bill Gates topped the male list for the second year running (REUTERS/Toru Hanai)The You Gov poll also found that Michelle Obama's husband, former US president Barack Obama, is the second most admired man in the world with Jackie Chan filling an unlikely top three for men.
Gates also topped the poll for men last year.
Vladimir Putin, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are also in the top 10.
The current US president, Donald Trump, though was back in 14th, one place behind technology entrepreneur Elon Musk.
For the British, the most admired woman was the Queen, Michelle Obama was second and Judi Dench in third place.

Barack Obama was second for Brits, with Prince Harry third.
The poll took in voted from people in 41 different countries and more than 42,000 people were interviewed to compile the list.

By contrast, the list of most admired men contains more people from political, business and sporting backgrounds.
