{UAH} Friendly Diplomatic Relations that existed between Uganda and Great Britain to start with when Idi Amin came to power in from 25TH January 1971

Great Britain actually recognised by then, General Idi Amin, as President of Uganda and grazifully for having removed Mr OBOTE in the counter Coup which MR Obote had orchestrated a Millitary Coup to have been effected to remove by the then Major General Idi Amin to be the Army Commender of Uganda under his Super  Rule Power from 1966 . Obote's need was to have to be created a Luo Soldier strong Army Officer to have replaced Idi Amin from Lado and for ever to have continued to rule Uganda  --- then onwards for ever . THE QUEEN'S LETTER TO UGANDAN TYRANT IDI AMIN IN FULL

Dear Mr President,

Thank you for your message of 10th January, delivered by your Minister of Defence. I reciprocate your good wishes and read with pleasure what you said about relations between our countries. 

I am very grateful for you asking me to attend the celebrations of the Tenth Anniversary of Ugandan Independence on 9th October, 1972. I am most disappointed that my commitments at that time will prevent my accepting your invitation.

I take this opportunity of wishing all success to your celebrations and to Uganda and its people throughout 1972.
