{UAH} Govt/state should appeal Sudhir case against Crane Bank to higher courts.
Folks
How did justice Wangutusi become head of the commercial division? How could he reach the following conclusion
"the head of the commercial court, David Wangutusi, observed that Crane Bank in receivership at the time of instituting the commercial suit against the businessman and his Meera Investments company, was none existent, hence never had powers to sue."
Really? A firm under receivership in Uganda becomes non-existent? And then this "hence never had powers to use? Wow!
well why is Minister Anite tussling with the receiver manager in the longing saga if according to the head of the commercial court, a firm in receivership is non existent? Strangely Justice Wangutusi made his ruling at the height of heated struggle between Minister Anite on one hand, and the receiver-manager , Treasury PS and AG on the other side.
What then appoint the receiver manager? What is the receiver manager appointed for if not recover debts and pay obligations on the firm's behalf? What a sham ruling?
The govt/state should appeal the case all the way to the Supreme Court if need be.
