{UAH} Junior Agogo: Ex-Ghana, Nottingham Forest and Bristol Rovers striker dies aged 40
Ghana Striker Junior Agogo was one of the first African footballers to play professional football in the English league. He broke the glass ceiling that cocooned football, and allowed African footballers to grasp their opportunities and to claim their rightful place in football royalty.. He will always be remembered as a pioneer, as one of those who opened the door and allowed hundreds of African footballers to realise their dreams, with many now plying their trade in the English football league. Agogo will be missed by Ghana and the various clubs he played for in the UK. RIP
