{UAH} What develops a country?
Simple theory. Change population configuration 75-80% African into
well planned Urban areas and 20-25% Africans in rural areas - you will
have the society Timothy is talking about.
Rapid urbanisation of Uganda Towns (Njeru, Jinja, Fort Portal etc)
between 1920 -50 where majority Indians were settled, meant rapid
growth of wealth among Indians.
Native Ugandan were struggling in crop production to get money to buy
what Indians produced and sold to them.
Trade and commerce has only one face making a profit hence setting up
trading facilities (Buildings) and having a sizeable consumer
population in want and need.
Until Africans grasp those simple tenets of growth (urbanisation) -
Africa will continue to ravage in poverty as they wallow in rural
farming poverty.
Bwanika.
