{UAH} WHY I THINK BOBI SHOULDN'T BE WASTING TIME AND RESOURCES ON 2021 ELECTION

Friends

Time after stupid time I have cautioned Ugandans from building a political structure from top to bottom, it must always be from bottom up. You have spent your entire lives preaching for EM "Omwana ava Bulaya" and the entire village bends over. What have those EMs produced for your country? Lule came from London and all of you threw an entire state to a stall "Ffe twagala Lule oba kuffa tuffe" He flies into Entebbe and threw a British flag on the car and you stupidly praised that too.

Can you for God's sake tell me one intelligent thing Lule did for Uganda? The man was a punk and a worst leader of Uganda that critical thinkers thanked God for his leaving office. Did you actually  know Museveni before the 1978/9 war? Apart from those of us that were following his actions in Mutukula when he was crashed.

And based on all past mistakes you are preaching for Bobi, what is his political history? At least 10 15 years back.

No I did not start to refuse selling property as an adult, I learnt it when my father used to drag me to a public road to pull grass off it at age 5. We called it Bulungi Bwansi. Every family was responsible to take care of the part of the road that passes through  or by your Kibanja, so that the population that uses that road can move quickly. We were never paid any monetary value, for it was Bulungi Bwansi. And when you look closely the idiots that never did Bulungi Bwansi, like George Okello that only rose out of bed to use those roads to go to Makerere University and Buddo are the ones that became the killers in our country. Politics must always start from bottom up than up bottom.

Go back and look closely at the U-tube of Gulu that Barigye posted, and if you missed it here it is again. https://youtu.be/2kuea_MUqCY Those punks you see riding motor cycles are your real national problem today. It is not Museveni, it is not Besigye, it is not Bobi it is  those goons on motor cycles you see ridding in Gulu. Those goons even  if you take Jesus out of Nazareth he can never lead Uganda with them. And yes those in Gulu have a killing instinct, but they are goons all over the country and in millions. You fly home and no matter what village you sit in you watch them, and your hair falls off the back of your neck. They know the country, they know every trick to robe you and they know every trick to by-pass every law. Those are the very danger of the future of the country and without finding a solution to them stop the conversation. Now did Museveni create them? No that behavior started way back Museveni only exacerbated it. Remember what the UK government said after the looting, Ugandans are very quick looters that they can loot the entire city of London dry in 30 minutes.

So what you need is to eliminate them, you do not need them, they have the energy, many are even militarily trained, give them what they want, create a meat grinder for them, by giving them the weapons to kill each other. Obama never sent soldiers to Syria he simply created a meat grinder for the Syrians, throw weapons in the country during the night and it did not matter who picked them up. Remember the Acholi war and Iteso war, many Acholi and Iteso brought back weapons, but they only brought back the broken ones, all good weapons never came back. Where are they? So if they kept all the good weapon what Iteso or Acholi village will not be happy if it wakes up and finds a brand new AK47 on the road?

Uganda is 241,000 Sq. Kms, and it has a population of just under 46 million people. In comparison the size of Ontario is 1.076 million Sq. Kms, and it has a population of only 13 million people. Do you get the picture? Thus even if the meat grinder takes half of the population, Uganda is still  too small to accommodate 23 million people. The right number of people today to be in that country is any number under 20 million.

That is why you fail to reach solutions for you create too much noise all over the place, you get none solutions and call them solutions, you have parents that literary pull  their children out of full  funded schools and send them to Tanzania to learn how to murder those that fund the schools. It is bizarre. You pack your own children and send them to Somalia Sudan Rwanda and DRC to fight, Good Lord who does that?

Did you even ask for what value your kids were going to die for? No for you have too many twerps and taking some out really does not matter. More than half of Uganda children are in wrong families, some men come home without even knowing who they have left pregnant during that night, look I come to Uganda and I know exactly what happens there. Where do you think those babies end up? In families, some families somewhere out there. Don't you wonder that Acholi the most under developed region of Uganda has the highest birth rate? In Acholi sperms only have to reach a firkin knee cap, boom you have a baby.

Take Uganda politics out of Kampala, and start to worry about the real problem of Uganda, which is village based.               -> RC-1

WHY I THINK BOBI SHOULDN'T BE WASTING TIME AND RESOURCES ON 2021 ELECTION

By Abbey Kibirige Semuwemba

People with middling to average intelligence are often overwhelmed by the complexity in the Uganda politics  and the constant streams of information. These types are not intellectually capable of understanding social trends and national events- they go with the flow. This confusion naturally creates great anxiety for them. Living in fear, they grasp simple dichotomies as a security blanket. This sort of person will, for example, take it on faith that Bobi is a capable leader and will become president, but will avoid actually thinking about how he will become president in an election that will be organised by his opponent( as we have seen before since 1996).

Disorganised and vague political movements provide the security and simplicity less intelligent people crave(and in this context I would certainly label, say, the People Power(PP) movement vague, directionless  and pulls most of its membership out of peer group pressure). The recently announced PP coordinators particularly provide the illusion of a structure in a fractured opposition, and offer ready-made simplistic answers to any complex issue that may arise before or after the 2021 elections . In reality, the people in that structure will have less impact on the elections- some have already fallen out with Bobi, some will be bribed, e.t.c.

Anybody can be president of Uganda, and I'm not really  against anybody standing for presidency. People with greater intelligence tend to be more open to novelty and change, more confident in their ability to deal with change, and more curious about the world. However, I find the simplistic PP dogma unsatisfying and a poor fit with objective reality. The idea that Bobi wants to stand for presidency isn't appealing because he doesn't seem to have a unique strategic plan- he isnt doing anything that hasn't been tried before by Dr.Kiiza Besigye and others, against Mr.Museveni. He comes across as someone who wants to just see his name on the ballot paper. It's anybody's guess how he intends to galvanize the opposition, if, as expected, Museveni remains the president.

Personally, I'm even skeptical of the possibility of Bobi becoming president even in a Uganda without Museveni , based on my 10 years of studying the way Museveni has set up Uganda. Right now, I would prefer a transitional government headed by Besigye, or someone NRM( but appealing to the public). Such a gov't of all parties and interest groups could be a useful ideal which could work if productively blended with strong rule of law, separation of powers, justice, political parties -state separation, and frequent or regularly-scheduled change of representatives to make a dynamically stable and reasonably fair civilization. The current People gov't represents such an idea, and It would have been given a boost if Bobi had joined it , in the first place, instead of wasting time and resources on an election he is going to lose.

To his credit, Bobi has a lot of influence on social media, and that's why, I suspect, the Uganda Communication Commission wants to register social media bloggers- they are doing everything possible to help Museveni look good to the outside world. Really, in our current society, anything remotely containing the whiff of criticism against Museveni, it could potentially land you in trouble under Section "Bastard"- that doesn't allow anybody to annoy the president. That's the thoughtcrime of our times, and that's the toxic  environment Bobi wants to campaign for presidency from.

That said, I wish him good luck. May be he has a Trojan horse somewhere we haven't seen before, and we will probably  be singing " tujambade engule " together after 2021, who knows?
