{UAH} STATEMENT: SAUDI NATIONAL DAY (Photo)

Yesterday evening it was a great pleasure to join our brothers and sisters the people of Saudi Arabia, in celebrating the Kingdoms 89th national day. The Saudi Royal Embassy in Kampala organized their celebrations at Uganda's International Conference Center, Serena Hotel (which was built by President Idi Amin in 1975 to welcome Africa and all Uganda's distinguished foreign guests, but also built for the people of Uganda).

The Saudi National day celebrations in Uganda was well attended by foreign ambassadors, diplomats, Uganda government officials and many other distinguished local and foreign guests. On behalf of the people of Uganda, I take this opportunity to thank His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the people of Saudi Arabia for all the humanitarian and development assistance in area's of health and infrastructure that Saudi Arabia provides annually to the people of Uganda. Once again I cannot overlook the importance to poor rural Ugandan mother's of the completion of Yumbe hospital and Kayunga hospital among many other humanitarian projects by Saudi Arabia to the people of Uganda.

As celebrations continue this whole week back in Saudi Arabia, I would like to wish Happy National Day to the Royal leadership, government and people of Saudi Arabia whom we the Amin family consider them as family, and we invite all Saudi's to visit at least once this beautiful country and do business with Uganda.

God Bless the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & we pray for a peaceful and durable end to all conflicts in the Middle East region.
