{UAH} The stomache, not ideas lead, African voters- PLO LUMUMBA

I am not a fan of PLO Lumumba, but dont YOU  think he is here talking directly to Bob Wine?  Even in a free and fair elections, Rubatasirwa could still win because elections mean almost nothing of significance to most Ugandan villagers. It is just an opportunity for them to earn a few bob and feel noticed. But deep down in their hearts, they know elections will not  change anything. Vladimir Lenin said it is only fools  who think that they can win state power through elections., much less change any society by elections. 

Below is the classical Marxist position, which I agree with..

'Consequently, Communism rejects parliamentarianism as the state form of the future society, or as the form of the class dictatorship of the proletariat. It denies the possibility of parliament being won to the proletarian cause on a long-term basis. It sets itself the task of destroying parliamentarianism. It follows from this that bourgeois state institutions can be used only with the object of destroying them. This is the one and only way the question of their utilization can be posed"
