Bianca Andreescu has won the U.S. Open women's championship, defeating Serena Williams in straight sets 6-3, 7-5, becoming the first Canadian - male or female - to win a Grand Slam tournament. This Mississauga girl becomes the first person born in  the 2000’s to win this competition.

 

It is important to note as well that Serena Williams has been winning this game over and over, she won it the first time before Bianca was born. By the way for Bianca to qualify for this game she pounded Serena Williams in the Roger cup few days ago
