I can't tell how many times I talked to former Mukono Mayor Muyanja
about planning Mukono. Muyanja did all he could but had no goodwill
from central government.
There is no way planning towns will ever be a central agenda by
Africans with an African perception of reality. That is the way it is
even though a small Town council like Mukono by organising it can
generate an enormous amount of riches and industry.
By just bring sewer lines, water pipes and paved access roads can
employ thousands and generate a huge industry exactly what is done in
elsewhere. Indonesia is planning to build a new city
that is the it is ( C'est Comme Ca La Vie)
