{UAH} Democrats have themselves to blame for all loses and misfortunes

Democrats have themselves to blame by voting  Barr during his confirmation hearing. When interviewed by reporters, some Democrats praised him for his integrity and reputation as a 'constitutionalist'. Very little mention was made of how Barr had helped President Bush cover up his involvement in the Iran/Contra scandal in 1992 while he worked as the US Attorney General. Barr advised President Bush, Sr. to pardon Weinberger and 5 others involved in the scandal, effectively ending any further investigation and any need for Bush himself to come in and testify. Columnist William Safire nicknamed AG Barr "The Cover-up General" during this episode along with earning the condemnation of Independent Counsel Walsh who also decried the whole maneuver as a cover-up.

It makes sense to assume that William Barr's success at impeding or ending the Independent Counsel's investigation during that scandal was exactly the qualification that Trump would eagerly embrace.

I wonder how those Democrats feel now about Barr's reputation for "integrity" and being "a no nonsense straight shooter" as they remarked during the confirmation hearings.
