{UAH} Jamaica has the most number of twins born per year
Today we will journey to the Caribbean Islands which contains a lot of countries, but we will be concerned with Jamaica today.
When people hear about Jamaica, they usually imagine weed, violence and reggae music but there is a lot more to this wonderful country and we will give you a few interesting facts.
1) Jamaica has the fastest runners in the world. Usian Bolt was no fluke nor a flash in the pan, other athletes like Yohan Blake and Asafa Powell plus Shelly Ann-Fraser Pryce have shown that Jamaicans are sprint lords.
2) Jamaica has the most churches per square mile. Forget churches in Nigeria, in Jamaica , there are exactly 3 churches every square mile. When you do the maths, you will see that Jamaicans pray a lot.
3) Jamaica has the smallest snake population. Due to the large population of Mongoose in Jamaica, snakes are a rare sight.
4) Rum is the national drink in Jamaica. Rum is an alcohol drink and in Jamaica you hardly see people taking any drink without mixing it with rum, even coca cola
5) James Bond is from Jamaica. The famous 007 movie franchise was developed and produced in Jamaica.

7) Reggae music originated from Jamaica, obviously. The music was born in the 1950s from Ska, Mento and rocksteady. The most notable reggae star was Bob Marley.
8) Chocolate milk was actually invented in Jamaica and used as medicine, probably was the sweetest medicine ever known.
9) Jamaica was the first Caribbean nation to gain independence from the UK. Although the Queen still remains the head of the nation, it is merely a ceremonial position .
10) The Blue Mountain coffee from Jamaica is one of the most expensive types of coffee in the world, and it's highly sought after.
It has grown on the island since 1728 and only coffee which has been certified by the Coffee industry board of Jamaica can be labeled "Blue Mountain Coffee".
